We are currently having a contest for our acronym.  EWB – could mean Electronic Web Businesses of Texas.

Our plan is to blog and support small home-based entrepreneurs who want to build online businesses with little start-up costs.  We are currently investigating several, including Empowr – Formerly FanBox.  Any business that we identify should include training to help the individual get started, as well a execution plans (i.e. step by step guidelines) to help them get into profit.

Any new business person must realize, that like a farmer, once seed is planted, the plant will take months to grow.  The farmer must water it, cultivate it, keep away the bugs, and provide nutrients and fertilizer.  Eventually, he is able to harvest and either enjoy eating his crop, or with more work, bundling it and taking it to market to be sold.  A farmer must own land, have farm equipment, and be able to handle the expenses of his or her enterprise.

The Master Mind principle: Two or more people actively engaged in the pursuit of a definite purpose with a positive mental attitude, constitute an unbeatable force. - Napoleon Hill

We hope to develop a committee of experienced online marketers to work together to make these recommendations.  Just as Napoleon Hill recommends the “Master Mind Principle”, we will come together, and having a merging of the minds.  Each person will bring his own unique and individual backgrounds, whether that be real estate, finance, banking, accounting, web design, search engine optimization, pay per click advertising, online stores, mentoring, or various industry experiences.

If feel like this is something you would like to participate in, we will soon be adding a Contact Form so you can get in touch with us.  Share with us if you want to be on the Master Mind, or if you are a beginner, looking to start your first business.

We will also post good motivational material from time to time.  For example, in the car today I heard the famous quote from Henry Ford: “He who says he is can, and he who says he cannot, are both right.”
